Lauren Alaina struggled to hold back tears as she honored Dolly Parton with a powerful performance of I Will Always Love You at the Grand Ole Opry.

The country singer was among the many artists who have paid tribute to Dolly since the country legend died at 80 on August 25. But for Lauren, the moment appeared to be especially personal.
