TV viewers are obsessing over a comedy series which is so good, they’ve binge-watched it seven times already. It can be hard finding a new TV series to get lost in, but with so many streaming platforms available, the choices are endless.
Now fans can’t get enough of one show which has been deemed brilliant by viewers and a film critic. Eccy Reviews often shares his suggestions on social media where he boasts nearly 450,000 followers on TikTok.
In a recent update with fans, he urged followers to not start this show unless they have the intentions of “binge-watching the entire thing”. He dubbed it one of the most perfect pieces of television he’s ever watched – and it’s called Mr Inbetween.
He said: “Warning. Do not start this show unless you’re ready to binge-watch the entire thing because this is one of the most perfect pieces of television that I have ever watched.
“The show that I am talking about is called Mr Inbetween. Now I know right now if you’ve seen this show, you’ll know exactly why I’m talking about it because every single comment I’ve had on my video for years has been telling me to watch this show.”
The TV viewer claimed now that he’s finished it, he’s so glad he started it in the first place.
He continued: “This show is full of action, comedy and emotion. I’d be laughing in tears, it had emotionally damaged me in tears.
“And every single episode is perfect until that final one and it is one of the best shows I have ever seen. Now each episode’s only 30 minutes, it’s three seasons long and it’ll be one of the easiest watches you’ll ever come across.”
Without giving too many spoilers away, Eccy Reviews said it follows a guy called Ray Shoesmith, a bodyguard and hitman who does the odd job on the side.
He added: “But it is such an hilarious show. His mates are insane, he’s insane and he genuinely doesn’t care what he says or does and it just makes for a fantastic show I couldn’t recommend enough.”
Discussing the characters, he said every one of them is “on point”. While the directing is phenomenal, everything about Mr Inbetween ticks all the boxes for him.
He continued: “It’s set in Australia and I think even just the accent itself makes this show 10 times funnier. Honestly listening to this review and if you go and watch this show, it’ll be one of the best things you will ever do.
“So make sure you head over to Disney+, get this show on your watch list.”

Since he shared the recommendation with his followers, many agreed it was a great show. One said: “Mr Inbetween is the best series of all time!” Another added: “Binge watched it superb, reminded me of Underbelly.”
Someone else admitted: “Class show watched it twice.” While a fourth chimed in: “Binged this and finished it in a week.”
Others claimed to have watched Mr Inbetween all the way through and then started it again.
Since it was aired between 2018-2021, the dark comedy-drama series has scored exceptional ratings across major platforms.
On Rotten Tomatoes, individual seasons racked up 90% or higher ratings, while on IMDb, it’s 8.7 out of 10 based on 53,000 voters.
Many reviewers have said in the past it’s worth watching as it features sharp writing, brilliant acting, and a unique blend of dark comedy and crime drama.
It follows Ray Shoesmith (created by and starring Scott Ryan), a criminal-for-hire and hitman who tries to balance his violent profession with being a good father, boyfriend, and friend.
All three seasons of the series are available to watch on Disney+.
