Back in early 2024 Netflix released their crime series “The Gentlemen” based on Guy Ritchie’s 2020 film of the same name and we now have some great news for fans! The show will return for a second season later this year and we can even share the first teaser trailer!
“The Gentlemen” premiered spent 10 weeks in the Global Top 10 going straight in at No.1 for its first three weeks so it’s no surprise that it will be returning!
In the series we meet Eddie Horniman as he inherits his father’s sizeable estate… only to discover it’s part of a weed empire. Moreover, a host of unsavoury elements of Britain’s criminal underworld want a piece of the operation. Determined to extricate his family from their clutches, Eddie tries to play the gangsters at their own game. However, as he gets sucked into the world of criminality, he begins to find a taste for it.
The new season will premiere on September 3rd and you can see the teaser trailer and synopsis below.
Season 2 is set one year since Eddie and Susie joined forces to work together in Bobby’s criminal empire overseas. As they drive to expand their enterprise, the decisions Bobby is making seem to be increasingly unsound. Now Eddie and Susie must decide whether to take action or risk losing it all, but unfettered ambition never ends well…
