TV chef Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly Ramsay Peaty has announced she is expecting a baby with her husband, Olympic swimmer Adam Ramsay Peaty.
Holly, 26, announced the pregnancy with a picture of Adam, 31, with his hand on her waist showing her baby bump, posted to Instagram. The pair also revealed that they are set to welcome a daughter in December as they wrote: “Baby Ramsay-Peaty coming December 2026. We can’t wait to meet our baby girl.”
One of the first to congratulate them was Holly’s famous father, chef Gordon. He shared his happiness by commenting on the post: “Congratulations to you both sending lots of love Dad.”
Gordon, 59, who shares six children with his wife Tana, added: “I’m going to be a very overexcited Grandad especially this Christmas.”
Close family friend Victoria Beckham also added her well wishes posting: “Congratulations!!!!!!” while son Romeo Beckham also commented on the post with several heart emojis. Strictly Come Dancing’s Neil Jones commented with heart emojis.
This will be Holly’s first child, and Adam’s second, as he is already dad to a five year old son named George-Anderson Adetola Peaty, born in September 2020 with his ex-partner, Eirianedd Munro.
Holly and Adam married in a star-studded ceremony at Bath Abbey in December last year, in a day surrounded by drama with some of Adam’s family members refusing to attend the ceremony.
The couple uninvited some of Adam’s side of the family to their lavish wedding – a move that’s said to have left Adam’s mum Caroline feeling as if her heart had been “cut out”.
Gordon has since said the invite ban was Adam and Holly’s decision – and in an interview claimed he wanted to sort things out and “draw a line in the sand” with Adam’s family. The Michelin star chef said he and wife Tana, 51, had also welcomed Adam’s family – and even treated them “like royalty”.
Gordon told the Daily Mail: “It’s just upsetting. It’s all self-inflicted from their side, because we’ve done nothing – none of what you’ve read: no rudeness, no ignorance – we welcomed them. We sent a chauffeur-driven car for them to come to the engagement party and treated them like royalty. So to get that barrage of press was very hurtful. Tana took it very seriously.”
When asked if he and Tana could ever see the situation being resolved, Gordon said: “I would like to go up to Nottingham [where Adam’s family live] with Tana and see them and draw a line in the sand. It was Adam and Holly’s wishes for them not to attend [their wedding] and so we had to respect that. There’s stuff they need to sort out as parents. That’s nothing to do with Tana and me. But we are very mindful we want to move on and allow Holly and Adam to continue starting their lives together.”
After their wedding, the pair spent their honeymoon in Mauritius and soon after moved into a home – thought to be in Surrey.
