Paul McCartney has announced a new special conversation event set to take place at the Roundhouse in London on June 10th.
The event will see McCartney explaining the process of his latest album, The Boys Of Dungeon Lane, in a more detailed fashion, from the stories of Andrew Watt’s introduction to the process, as well as recruiting Ringo Starr to duet on the track ‘Home To Us’.
A press release from McCartney’s team said, “In this unique live event, Paul will reflect on the making of the album from its earliest beginnings, sharing stories and insights from his first meeting with producer Andrew Watt in 2021 through to the recording process, songwriting, duetting with Ringo for the first time, artwork development and the album’s release last week.”
It continued, stating, “The album is arguably his most personal and introspective to date, untold stories that transport the listener back to where it all began”.

“The new songs find Paul in a candid, vulnerable and reflective mood, writing with rare openness about his childhood in post-war Liverpool, the resilience of his parents, and early adventures with George Harrison and John Lennon long before the world had ever heard of Beatlemania.”
McCartney’s first record in five years ultimately saw him turn the lens back on the past through original music that Far Out reviewed at four stars and outlined as a triumphant swansong for the former Beatle.
This marks McCartney’s first live event since the release of the album; it isn’t clear whether or not any performances will be involved, nor have any further dates been announced.
Tickets for the event go on sale at 10am on June 3rd.
