The first Love Island contestant to to be dumped from the Villa has been revealed.
Following the dramatic recoupling cliffhanfger last night, the most recent episode (June 10) sees yet another twist. Viewers have already seen Namibia’s decision to couple up with Sam and Victoria’s choice to pair with Ope, which causes some tension.
It was finally time for the boys to step forward one after the other and share which girl they wish to pair up with. Sean was up first, unsurprisingly sticking with Lola.
Samraj is next, claiming he hasn’t had the easiest time in the Villa, before picking Mica. Kavan switched his couple up with by opting for Jasmine. Lorenzo, confessing he didn’t know where his head is at, eventually chose Priya. Aidan was next to stand up, pairing up with Yasmin.
Eventually, Ellie, Robyn and Angelista were left standing alone, holding each other’s hands. However, an unexpected text message suddenly arrives bringing major implications for the three single girls.
It tells them ‘You are now single and vulnerable. Simba & Tommy are on their way to meet you.’
The new bombshells make an impactful debut, greeting the group as the girls get their first glimpse of the arrivals. One girl, clearly impressed by the newcomers, shares her thoughts with the Villa with a cheeky knowing look.
However, Lorenzo receives another text, tasking Simba and Tommy with the ultimate decision: selecting which of the vulnerable girls they wish to pair up with.
Simba is the first to step forward, picking Angelista, followed by Tommy selecting Ellie. With all decisions made, and brand new couples formed, one girl is left awaiting her fate. A final text message arrives for Robyn.
It reads: ‘You are now single and therefore dumped from the Island. Please pack your bags and say your goodbyes.’ Shockwaves ripple through the Villa as the group gathers around her for a tearful farewell embrace.
She tells them: “Guys don’t be upset, it is what it is.” However as she says her goodbyes to the girls in the dressing room, her along with Ellie breaks down in tears.
Viewers were quick to react online over the first official dumping of the season. One simply said: “Wow that’s brutal Angelista & Ellie saved.”
Another claimed: “Ellie is like a cat with nine lives in there. She’s been saved from being dumped THREE times and it’s only been on over a week, is this a record?? Obsessed with her and her bags.”Someone else added: “Does feel like there are some questionable dumpings every year. Really should be as simple as binning off the boring people.” While one fan posted: “Bye Robyn. you were a little whirlwind.”
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
