The production was filmed largely around Greater Manchester, with locations including Manchester, Bolton, Stockport and Bury. The fictional community of Cedarfield was created using locations across the region.

That setting gives the series a distinctly British identity while preserving the fast-moving mystery structure associated with Coben’s work.

The result is a crime thriller that moves between domestic drama, police investigation and a growing network of secrets without remaining confined to a single storyline.
