The brief exchange was presented as an indication of how uncomfortable some people in the social circle may be with discussing Meghan.

Hargreaves went further in describing the reaction she encountered while speaking with people in Meghan and Harry’s new surroundings.

Her observation was: “So it wasn’t only ‘We don’t want anything to do with her’, but ‘Do not degrade my house by bringing it up’.”
