A sensational new Netflix thriller series has managed to generate millions of views within its first 10 days of release.
It premiered back in May (Thursday 21st) to huge acclaim from fans and critics, managing to pick up an incredible 97 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Fans of the first season who are desperate for more now have an encouraging sign that a second season could be on its way as The Boroughs’ first eight-part outing scored an impressive 15 million views.

Executive produced by Stranger Things creators The Duffer Brothers, the series follows a group of retirees in a seemingly idyllic community in New Mexico who slowly uncover a dark, supernatural secret buried deep in the centre of their town.

Since its release, the series created by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews has become Netflix’s global number one show, and is still currently ranking eighth on the streamer’s UK chart nearly a month after its release.
It even out-performed the highly anticipated second season of The Four Seasons in an impressive feat for a totally original and untested new release. As the first instalment concluded with a spine-tingling cliffhanger, fans could expect Netflix to give season two the greenlight any day now.
Fans have been raving about the series, with favourable comparisons to classic 1980s films by Steven Spielberg, so it’s a must-watch for anyone who rushed out to see the iconic director’s new film Disclosure Day.
