Netflix’s most controversial show continues to spark backlash as the brand new series comes to an explosive end.

Let’s Marry Harry was released on Netflix earlier this month, following reality TV star Harry Jowsey on his quest to find a wife.

Known for his appearances on Too Hot to Handle as well as Perfect Match, Harry has not had a successful time in finding the love of his life, now turning to his own series after years of dating in the spotlight.

The series follows him as he gets to know a pool of potential matches, before choosing who he really wants to marry.

An official synopsis reads: “Heartthrob Harry Jowsey (Too Hot to Handle, Perfect Match) is done playing the field. This time, he’s handing the reins of his love life to those who know him best.

“After years of dating in the spotlight — and getting it wrong — his closest confidants are stepping in to make the tough calls.

“From a carefully selected pool of potential matches, they’ll decide who stays and who goes, guiding Harry toward what he truly wants: authentic love and marriage.”

The series came to an end yesterday (August 12), with Harry making his decision and choosing Amber to be his wife. But the series continues to receive backlash from viewers, who have been unimpressed by what they saw.

Taking to Reddit, one person said: “Im ep 3 rn, and my jaw DROPPED at the booger scene! Like seriously, how disgusting can someone be and why tf are they broadcasting it.”

Another penned: “Just wait until you get to episode 5….I couldn’t get through it without pausing it multiple times from secondhand embarrassment (not the first half of the episode, which is surprisingly emotional and sweet) but you will know what I mean when you get to the second half.”

A third stated: “This show should be a case study on everything that’s wrong with dating in 2026. This show is gross.” In another thread, one person fumed: “I can’t believe I watched this entire show”, as another added: “I’ve never felt so disgusted with Netflix.”

Over on X, viewers were similarly frustrated as one person said: “Harry, I’m disappointed in you.”

However, some admitted the series was addicting as one viewer penned: “If you told me #letsmarryharry was completely AI, I would say ‘Ohhhhhhh that makes so much sense’. Everything is really empty, cringe at best, and addicting.”

Another wrote: “Im just now watching the last episode. Harry Jowsey is not getting married. If he’s serious about this is would be shocked. Lol I love REALITY TV. Thank you for doing what I would never.”

A third admitted: “When #LetsMarryHarry has me ugly crying like a mother trucker.” A fourth confessed: “Me and my friends watched the show yesterday and we loved it and Harry you are such a sweetheart @HarryJowsey and we can’t wait for the final episode #letsmarryharry.”
