“Everyone Froze When It Happened”: Simon Cowell Faces Backlash After an Awkward On Air Moment With Declan Donnelly on Britain’s Got Talent Sparks Outrage and Ignites a Heated Debate Over What Really Happened Behind the Scenes

BRITAIN’S Got Talent fans are convinced they have spotted a secret ‘feud’ between Simon Cowell and host Dec Donnelly.

It comes following an awkward moment between the pair during tonight’s first live semi-final, with show creator Simon making a cutting remark towards the presenter.

The first semi-final saw several acts take to the stage in front of Simon and his fellow judges; Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and KSI.

After watching mentalist Fraser Penman perform, Simon had some constructive criticism for the perfomer.

After delivering some feedback, Simon said to Fraser: “You’re very mysterious,” as Dec interrupted: “Thank you judges”.

“I’m not done talking,” clapped back Simon in a snipy remark as he continued with even more feedback.

The moments didn’t go unnoticed by fans either, as they shared their sadness for Dec after a chaotic weekend of television – including last night’s drama-filled I’m A Celeb final.

One viewer tweeted: “Simon Cowell being rude to Dec,

“Don’t you think they’ve been through enough on live telly this weekend. He was trying to keep your show on time #BritainsGotTalent“.

“‘I’m still talking’ Simon i think ant and dec have had enough attitude for this weekend #BGT #BritainsGotTalent,” wrote another.

A third said: “Dec has reached his limit of chaotic live telly this weekend #BritainsGotTalent“.

It certainly hasn’t been a smooth sailing weekend for hosts Ant and Dec, with two nights in a row of live TV after they fronted the I’m A Celeb final last night and BGT tonight.

The I’m A Celeb final was ultra dramatic as the fallout from Jimmy Bullard and Adam Thomas’ row unraveled.

Last night’s show was so heated that Gemma Collins and Sinitta stormed off the stage as Jimmy went around each campmate and asked them if Adam‘s behaviour towards him was “aggressive and abusive” when they had a bust-up during filming.

Jimmy was riled when Ant insisted Adam wasn’t intimidating in scenes that weren’t aired on TV due to the C-word being thrown around.

The former footballer called it a “liberty” and was backed by his controversial pal David Haye, who demanded Adam explain why he was lobbing obscenities at Jimmy.
