The second season landed on BBC iPlayer in May 2026, and a third and concluding series is scheduled to debut in 2027.

During the first season, Pip delved into how schoolgirl Andie Bell was slain in Little Kilton five years prior.

Her boyfriend, Sal Singh (Rahul Pattni), sent a text confessing to the killing before he was also discovered deceased, apparently having ended his own life.

Andie’s remains were never recovered and the case was shut, but Pip remained convinced of Sal’s innocence and dedicated herself to pursuing justice, triggering a dark and twisted narrative.

“Can’t wait for all the people who love Holly’s book to see it brought to their screens.”

The actress and mother of two revealed her daughter was an avid fan of the books, commenting: “When something comes along that your children are going mad for, you do tend to have a little look and get involved in it.

“It’s quite nice that I’m in something they can watch rather than things that are inappropriate or that makes them cringe massively and hate watching me in it.”

Discussing her character Leanne, she portrayed her as “pretty nice as a mum”, elaborating: “She just cares about and is a bit worried about [Pip]. She can see Pip going down a precarious road.”

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder season 1 is available to stream on Netflix.
