Prince Harry swiftly called out an audience member during a live Fox broadcast, addressing their laughter mere moments into the segment.
The Duke of Sussex joined host James Corden on a post-World Cup final show on Fox after Spain’s 1-0 victory over Argentina. The discussion initially centered on the match and England’s close attempt at reaching the final, with the squad eventually finishing in third place.
During their exchange, Corden questioned Harry about whether he had played soccer during his school years, suggesting that his education might have been “too posh” for the sport. His appearance occurred just days following a rare trip to the UK.
Harry challenged the notion, stating, “It was such a posh school that everything was an option. There was a football team.”
Corden then asked, “Were you any good?”

Harry offered a frank assessment of his playing career, explaining, “You know what, in prep school, I was on the first team. And then I went to the bigger school, and I ended up on the E team. Big A team, down to E team. So that didn’t feel very good.”
As he concluded his response, an audience member burst into laughter, instantly drawing Harry’s focus. The prince reacted by gesturing toward the person and calling them out directly, remarking, “You found that really funny, didn’t you?” Corden swiftly continued the conversation, inquiring about which sport Harry eventually pursued during his school days.

Harry also surprised viewers by using profanity during the appearance. While discussing England ramping up their intensity during their match against Argentina, Harry said, “I think they were like… ‘Oh sh—, we’re winding it up.'”
The visit follows Harry’s recent return to the United Kingdom for a prominent appearance connected to the Invictus Games. The Duke, 41, flew from the United States to commemorate one year before the event takes place in Birmingham, England.
Prior to the trip, Harry’s spokesperson confirmed he had received an invitation from his father to lodge at Buckingham Palace while in London. However, arrangements seemingly shifted rapidly.
Reports subsequently emerged that the invitation had been “withdrawn,” with palace insiders suggesting that Harry had failed to formally acknowledge the offer within the specified timeframe. According to the BBC, the deadline expired at the close of last week, and Harry was notified over the weekend that palace lodging would no longer be provided.
