Country rap star Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie Xo, have reportedly gone their separate ways after a decade of marriage.
According to TMZ, court records obtained on June 15 revealed that 41-year-old Jason Bradley DeFord filed for divorce from Bunnie, real name Alisa DeFord, in Tennessee in May. The split was reportedly a mutual decision between the former couple, with the separation described as a private family matter.
News of Jelly Roll’s divorce comes after Post Malone canceled 6 tour dates of their joint Big A– Staidum Tour Part 2, citing a ‘difficult choice’ amid the country star’s MAGA controversy.
Jelly Roll first crossed paths with Bunnie in 2015, before his rise to fame, though romance didn’t blossom until the following year. The pair tied the knot in August 2016, reports the Irish Star. Notably, just one week before their wedding, Jelly Roll, who already shared a daughter with his ex, welcomed a son with another woman.
Bunnie, 46, who had previously worked in the sex industry, retired in 2023. The couple did not share any children, and were open about their IVF journey before their split.
The dissolution of his marriage follows the announcement that Jelly Roll would no longer be headlining Kid Rock’s upcoming Rock the Country music festival in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The Rock the Country festival has struggled with ticket sales, raising concerns that the event could be canceled. Ticket costs were reduced by 50%, with Kid Rock breaking the news via Instagram. Staind replaced Jelly Roll on the bill for the June 28 show.
Fans are speculating he may align more closely with MAGA ideology than previously thought, following an Instagram post from Kristi Noem, nicknamed ICE Barbie, featuring photos of her and Jelly Roll smiling and hugging, which has circulated widely on social media.

He went on, “So this is the truth, and I’m glad somebody asked, because I love talking about this stuff, and people care to hear my opinion, but so I can tell you that people shouldn’t care to hear my opinion.”
Fans criticized the singer’s response, with many suspecting that he may have ties with MAGA after dodging questions about ICE and other political issues.
The singer has not publicly commented on the divorce news.
