Jeopardy! fans rejoiced when super champion Jamie Ding popped back up on social media in another trivia challenge. Find out how he did.
The Princeton Instagram page had Ding, a bureaucrat from Lawrenceville, New Jersey, face off against other students in trivia about the school. He wore a black and orange Princeton jacket with a bunch of pins attached.
The 31-game champion shared on the game show that he would wear orange a lot because it was his favorite color. It also just so happens to be the color of his alma mater.
First, Ding was asked to name as many orange things as he could within 10 seconds. He said pumpkins, carrots, Princeton, tigers, candy corn, marigolds, and tiger lilies, giving him seven answers. Another contestant only named five, while another alum beat him and named eight things, although most of them he was wearing.
The next question was to name as many game shows as they could before the clock ran out. Ding stated The Price Is Right, Family Feud, Jeopardy!, Celebrity Jeopardy!, Celebrity Jeopardy!: All-Stars, Pop Culture Jeopardy!, and Wheel of Fortune, giving him eight. The other two contestants did not beat him and only named four. Although Ding’s were mostly different iterations of Jeopardy!, they still count, right?
The third question was to name as many Princeton traditions as they could within 10 seconds. Ding went on to name Cane Spree, Reunions, P-rade, Pre-rade, bonfire, and stealing the clapper, bringing his total to six. Another alum beat him and answered seven traditions.
Ding did not turn out victorious and only won one of the questions. Compared to his Jeopardy! run, it was a lot faster-paced, but lower stakes, and not as exciting.
During his Jeopardy! run, Ding won $882,605. He will return to the stage again for the Tournament of Champions. A date has not yet been set, but it won’t be too long before fans can see him again. They left comments on the post.

“Miss you, Jamie!” one fan said.
“My fav on Jeopardy!” another wrote.
“Jamie! So good to see you again,” a third commented.
“You are SO MISSED! Good to see you again,” a fan said.
“This man knows his Jeopardy!,” one last fan wrote.
