Guns N’ Roses have got their summer started and began the North American leg of their world tour on July 23rd.
While they have only just hit the road in North America, it’s been a busy summer for Guns N’ Roses already, having headlined Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach in May. They also returned to Brazil for a series of dates in April.
Then in June, they hit up Europe, headlining Download Festival, as well as performing shows in European cities such as Dublin, Amsterdam, Berlin and Paris.
Now, they are back on home soil, performing at the Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh on July 23rd, and will remain on the road in North America for two months, with the tour set to conclude at Truist Park in Atlanta on September 19th.
Notable stops that Guns N’ Roses will be making across the next two months include huge dates at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the Rogers Stadium in Toronto, the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, and the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
For the show in Raleigh, they were joined by Public Enemy as special guests. Later on the run, they will trade places with Pierce The Veil, Ice Cube, and The Black Crowes.
As is to be expected with Guns N’ Roses, they got the show on the road with their iconic opener ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, which sets the raucous tone for the night ahead.
Of course, there was plentiful other cuts from Appetite for Destruction that got played in Raleigh too, such as ‘Mr. Brownstone’, ‘It’s So Easy’, ‘Rocket Queen’, ‘Sweet Child o’ Mine’, ‘Nightrain’, and ‘Paradise City’.
Meanwhile, from the Use Your Illusion era, Guns N’ Roses played ‘November Rain’, ‘Bad Obsession’, ‘Don’t Cry’, as well as their classic cover of Wings’ ‘Live and Let Die’, among others.
They also honoured the late Ozzy Osbourne with a cover of Black Sabbath’s ‘Sabbath Bloody Sabbath’, which they first played at Back to the Beginning last year, and has now become a regular part of their sets in 2026.
Their iconic cover of Bob Dylan’s ‘Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door’ was also featured, as was ‘Chinese Democracy’, and Velvet Revolver’s ‘Slither’.
Next up for Guns N’ Roses on their tour is the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, New York, on July 26th.
