Blake Shelton’s set at the VOA Country Music Festival became a little more personal when his wife, Gwen Stefani, unexpectedly joined him onstage, giving fans a rare chance to watch the couple perform two of their most beloved collaborations together.
Stefani later shared a behind-the-scenes recap on Instagram, revealing that she and the couple’s dog, Betty, decided to “pull up” to Shelton’s show.
Her post followed the night from beginning to end, showing her getting ready aboard the tour bus, enjoying Shelton’s performance from the side of the stage and eventually stepping out in front of the crowd to sing alongside her husband.
For Shelton, there was no hiding his excitement about having her there.
“This is Gwen Stefani that’s here tonight,” he proudly announced to the audience.
Shelton and Stefani Reunited for ‘Nobody But You’
Once Stefani joined him onstage, the couple performed their fan-favorite 2019 collaboration “Nobody But You.”
Shelton and Stefani traded verses before joining together for the chorus, with their harmonies bringing the romantic duet to life in front of the festival crowd.
The song’s message has taken on added significance as their relationship has evolved.
Shelton and Stefani first became close while working together on The Voice. Their friendship eventually developed into a romance, and the couple married in 2021.
That history has made performances of songs such as “Nobody But You” particularly meaningful for fans who have followed their relationship from its early days.
But as the song came to an end, Shelton clearly wasn’t ready for his wife to leave the stage.

Before Stefani could make her exit, Shelton stopped her with a simple request.
“Would you do one more song with me please?” he asked.
Stefani agreed.
Shelton then turned the moment into something the entire audience could share.
“Let’s all do this together,” he told the crowd.
The couple launched into “Happy Anywhere,” another collaboration closely associated with their relationship.
Once again, Shelton and Stefani shared vocals as the audience joined the moment.
What could have been a brief surprise cameo had now become a two-song appearance.
Fans Want More Music From the Couple

After Stefani shared footage from the festival on Instagram, fans filled the comments with praise for the couple’s chemistry and the way their voices blend together.
Many also expressed hopes that Shelton and Stefani might record more music together.
Their joint stage appearances remain relatively unpredictable because both continue to maintain their own careers.
Stefani balances her solo work with No Doubt, while Shelton continues recording and touring as a country artist. Away from their professional commitments, the couple also spends time together at their Oklahoma ranch.
That makes an unexpected Stefani appearance during one of Shelton’s concerts something fans cannot necessarily count on seeing at every show.
Shelton Still Has More 2026 Concerts Ahead
Shelton currently has three additional performances scheduled before the end of 2026.
His next stop will be the Rock the Country Festival in Ocala, Florida, on August 29.
He is then scheduled to perform at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, on October 24, before wrapping up his currently announced dates with a show at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona, on November 14.
Whether Stefani will make another surprise appearance at any of those concerts has not been announced.
Both Stars Have Already Had a Busy Year
The VOA Country Music Festival appearance comes during an active year for both Shelton and Stefani.
In May, No Doubt held a residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, while Shelton was simultaneously performing his own ** Live in Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace**.
Their separate schedules make the occasions when they can perform together less predictable.
At the VOA festival, however, Stefani’s decision to “pull up” with Betty resulted in exactly that kind of moment.
She arrived intending to support her husband from the sidelines, eventually found herself standing beside him in front of the crowd — and when Shelton asked for “one more song,” she stayed.
