Mack presented an image showing dice faces with the numbers one through five, with six not included. Contestants were then given 30 seconds to solve the challenge:

“Using only the faces of the dice you can see and each of them just once, how many different ways can you add them together to make a total of ten?”

The wording was crucial.

Players could only use the numbers that were visible, and each number could be used only once in any individual combination.

When the 30 seconds were over, 16 contestants had given an incorrect answer and were eliminated from the competition.

The Three Combinations That Make 10

There were three possible combinations.

The first was:

5 + 4 + 1 = 10

The second was:

5 + 3 + 2 = 10

And the third combination used all four numbers from one through four:

4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 10

That left a total of three valid combinations.

Although the arithmetic was simple, contestants had to make sure they had found every possible arrangement without using any number more than once — a detail that proved costly for 16 players.

Cameron Reaches the Final With £96,000 at Stake

Their final challenge was the show’s 1% question, this time involving a four-digit PIN number.

Both of Cameron’s fellow finalists submitted incorrect answers, leaving Cameron as the only contestant to successfully solve the final puzzle.

His correct answer secured the entire £96,000 jackpot, making him the episode’s sole winner.
