Series two picks up after the death of the Wright family patriarch, Jack. The family is thrown into chaos when one of their own is arrested for his murder. As tensions rise over guilt, inheritance, and long-held grudges, new characters arrive, new wills come into play, and more bodies turn up, making for a suspenseful, twist-filled story.

Aside from Grace star John Simm and Nikki Amuka-Bird (Small Island, The Personal History of David Copperfield, returning cast members include Ruby Ashbourne Serkis (Shardlake), Daniel Rigby (Summerwater) and Harry Lloyd (Prime Target), with Tom Austen (Grantchester) and Zora Bishop (Hijack) joining the ensemble.

Jon East directs the series, produced by Kingsley Hoskins, while Chris Lang and Polly Williams serve as executive producers.
