It’s war time again on MobLand Season 2, but this time, the Harrigans will be fighting amongst themselves, it seems. Paramount+ has revealed the first trailer and photos for the next season of the Guy Ritchie-produced crime drama, premiering Friday, September 18, and in it, Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy) gives a major status report on his benefactors-slash-detractors.
“This hasn’t exactly been a wonderful 24 hours for me, yeah?” he tells a petrified captive in the back of his van as the clip cuts to a shot of him with a gun to the back of his head. “I’m under a lot of pressure,” he continues. “The people that I work for, the Harrigans, they run North London.”
We then see Conrad (Pierce Brosnan) and a giddy Maeve (Helen Mirren) storming a place with guns blazing, as the crime boss declares, “We are the Harrigans! Don’t know us yet? Then Google us!”
“This family is on the brink of civil war, ripe for the picking,” Harry explains, as we see footage of Maeve putting a knife to Eddie’s (Anson Boon) face and Conrad drawing a gun on Kevin (Paddy Considine).
Beyond that, there’s another bloody encounter with a chainsaw, a vehicle explosion, and so much more to see. On top of that, there are also a bevy of first-look photos that give even more insight into what’s ahead in Season 2, including shots of newcomer Johnny Flynn as Frankie, along with returnees Mandeep Dhillon as Seraphina, Joanne Froggatt as Jan Da Souza, Lara Pulver as Bella, Toby Jones as Colin Tattersall, and Teddie-Rose Malleson-Allen as Gina.
