A Secret Family Escape?! Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Reportedly Took Archie And Lilibet On A Hidden Scottish Getaway — The Private Trip That Could Reveal A New Chapter For The Sussexes!Away from the cameras and royal spotlight, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are claimed to have taken their children on a quiet Scottish adventure during their UK visit. The reported secret getaway, including a visit to a remote island, has sparked fresh questions about their connection to Britain and the private moments they keep away from public view.

Prince Harry and Meghan took their children on a secret getaway to Scotland during their recent trip to the UK, it has been claimed.

But rather than heading to the royal estate of Balmoral, it is reported that instead they travelled to a remote island owned by a wealthy hedge fund manager. The Sussexes are claimed to have visited Tanera Mor, the island said to have inspired the cult 1973 film The Wicker Man, which was bought by billionaire Ian Wace, the co-founder of hedge fund firm Marshall Wace.

Mr Wace bought the almost-deserted 800-acre island in 2017 for £1.7million and has reportedly ploughed £100million of investment into it to transform it.

Now, many of the buildings and the natural landscape have been restored, and the Taigh Mor Foundation now hosts around 500 guests a year who work in the likes of the Police and Armed Forces so they can enjoy what is described as the island’s “calm and restorative” atmosphere.

It is believed Mr Wace is a friend of Harry’s with he and his former model wife Saffron Aldridge joining the Duke and Duchess at a Cirque du Soleil performance at the Royal Albert Hall in 2019.

According to the Daily Mail, Harry is previously thought to have visited the island, where guests can help restore buildings, fish for mackerel and work in the kitchens and gardens.

Spokespeople for both the Sussexes and for Mr Wace declined to comment to the Mirror.

News of the alleged visit comes just a week after Meghan shared a glimpse into the Sussex family trip to the UK earlier this month in a series of Instagram snaps.

She posted a series of photos to her 4.7million Instagram followers with the caption ‘Summer Holiday’, with the carousel of 12 pictures including one snap that appeared to have been taken in the Scottish Highlands, showing a large loch.

In addition, the pictures also revealed that she, Prince Harry and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet visited Althorp – the Spencer family home, where the late Princess Diana is buried.

In one picture, Lilibet, five, is seen walking through the home’s famous tree-lined gardens, while Harry and seven-year-old Archie walk ahead carrying bouquets of flowers.

Other photos posted by Meghan and set to the Cliff Richard tune ‘Summer Holiday’, show the Sussexes in swimwear spending time at the beach, as well as Harry throwing his daughter up in the air as they play in a swimming pool and enjoying time in Portugal, where they had been enjoying a holiday before heading to the UK.

It has previously been reported that the Sussexes have a holiday home on the country’s Atlantic coast, close to where Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank spend some of their time.

And in one photo, Meghan appears to share an image of the front of fish restaurant, O Melidense, in Melidese – in the same Alentejo region of Portugal.

Meghan is also photographed on a sun lounger beside a pool and in the background are a man and woman who have a striking resemblance to Harry’s uncle Charles and his new wife, Cat Jarman.

In another sweet snap, Archie is seen in the cockpit of a plane wearing a pilot’s hat, while the three staff members surround him as he is shown the controls. None of the photographs shows Archie or Lilibet’s faces – a move by Harry and Meghan to protect their children’s privacy.

The string of pictures also did not contain any photos of the Sussexes’ family reunion with the King and Queen at Highgrove two weeks ago.
