Kristen Bell just proved that you never know what might happen at a Savannah Bananas game.
The Frozen star surprised fans at the team’s Denver game when she suddenly appeared in the stands and began singing. What started as an unexpected performance quickly turned into one of the night’s most memorable moments.
Bell joined Broadway star Derek Klena at Coors Field for a surprise musical number that had fans cheering, screaming and reaching for their phones.
In footage from the game, Bell can be seen walking down an aisle toward the field while singing. As she reached the field, she stopped to salute Klena, who was waiting in his Savannah Bananas uniform.
Klena then joined her for his part of the performance, and the pair eventually took the surprise to another level by recreating the famous lift from Dirty Dancing.
The Savannah Bananas were clearly enjoying the unexpected crossover as much as the crowd. The team shared the performance online and called it “the mashup we never knew we needed.”
Fans quickly filled the comments with excitement.
One called the collaboration a “dream collab,” while another described it as the “best mashup everrrrr.” Others praised Bell for living out what one fan called “every 80s girl’s dream” by performing the iconic Dirty Dancing lift.
Klena also earned plenty of attention of his own. Fans were surprised to discover that the Broadway performer could not only sing and dance but also play Banana Ball.
“Wait- hold up- he sings like that AND PLAYS BANANA BALL?!??!!?” one fan joked.
Bell’s surprise appearance came shortly after she reunited with her Frozen costars Idina Menzel and Josh Gad at D23 on August 14.
The trio appeared at the Disney event to preview Frozen 3 and gave fans a glimpse at what is coming next for Anna, Elsa and Olaf. Among the biggest revelations were Anna and Kristoff’s wedding and a new romantic storyline for Olaf.
Frozen 3 is scheduled to arrive in theaters in 2027, with Bell returning as Anna, Menzel as Elsa and Gad as Olaf. Jonathan Groff will also reprise his role as Kristoff.
With Frozen 4 already in development, Bell clearly has plenty more Disney magic ahead. But for now, her surprise Savannah Bananas performance has given fans a completely different reason to celebrate their favorite actress.
