KATIE Price has revealed that her family will “refuse” to meet husband Lee Andrews when he finally comes to the UK – saying “they want nothing to do with him”.

Released today, the four-part series documents Katie’s 30-year career in the public eye, including her relationships, marriages and alter egoJordan.

Presenters Cat and Ben quizzed Katie on her whirlwind marriage to Lee, after she tied the knot with him just two weeks after meeting him.

Katie said that viewers will see her family’s reaction on the doc to her jetting off to Dubai to meet Lee and the wedding that shortly followed.

The media personality has stood by her man when he recently spent time in Dubai’s notorious Al Awir jail, where he was held over unpaid debts.

Katie admitted her marriage was becoming a ‘gimmick’ and has urged Lee to stay off social media. She said: “It is making headlines and I have said to Lee ‘you’re not helping yourself’, I said to him when he came out of prison to not go on socials and to leave it and give yourself a break.

“But he doesn’t listen, he’s doing it and no wonder everyone has got all of this on you, you’re not helping yourself at all.”

Co-host Ben then asked the TV star how her marriage was going amid growing concern for the star.

She said: “I’ve just got back from Dubai. I know a lot that other people don’t. But it’s just so messy and it just looks so messy out there.

“People don’t believe you’ve been kidnapped, people don’t believe this and that and they just think it’s a joke.

“And it’s not really fair on me because it doesn’t look good on me and you just have to stay away from it all.”

Katie insisted that Lee will STILL be coming to the UK, despite his reported travel ban.

She continued: “So when he does come to England, he said he’ll do a lie detector test, but it’s become such a gimmicky joke now, no one believes it’s even a marriage now, it’s just not fair.

“Especially like my family, they don’t want nothing to do with him and you can’t blame them because what’s out there.”

Katie went on to reveal that her loved ones will refuse to meet Lee if he attempts to contact them to arrange a meet-up.

She went on to say: “I want them to [meet Lee], but at the moment they’re like ‘no’, because they’re protecting me.

“I love that, my family, friends, everyone is protecting me.

“I said to Lee, if you see my doc, you will see how many times men have let me down, so this is why people are like the way they are because men have been the downfall of my life and they are protecting me because they don’t want another one to use me and break me.

“But what I can let you know, where I have therapy, yes, I married him quick but I’m so protected that I will never let a man hurt me, break me, destroy me again.”

Katie then gave her mum Amy a shout out, saying she was back in hospital but insisted she is a “strong woman”.

The documentary focuses on Katie’s highs and lows – from marriage breakdowns to her different career moves.

But in a heartbreaking moment Katie’s eldest kids Princess and Junior Andre break down in tears over their mum’s drug problem and say “thank God dad was stable”.

Junior, 20, and Princess, 19 – who are from Katie’s first marriage to Peter Andre – appear in the new docuseries.

One of the most emotional moments comes when Junior and Princess discuss Katie’s drug problem following the end of her marriage to third husband Kieran Hayler.

Junior says: “I remember missing her so much and I remember this one time in particular, I was in her bed waiting for her to come back.

“I woke up, probably about 3.30am, to some loud noises. I saw her coming in the room and I’ll never forget the look on her face… she was obviously on stuff, right? I could see it in her eyes.

“And it scared me because I’ve never seen my mum look like that. She’s there but she’s not there.

“She wasn’t being a mum. She wasn’t the mum that I knew from being a little, little boy.

“Mum was on drugs and she could not look after us, and that is the reality of it. She couldn’t.

“We was kind of like the siblings we’d just look after one another quite a lot. I remember me trying to figure out ‘is this food microwavable’ to feed us for dinner.

“Not that she didn’t feed us, but she was out all the time.”
