“‘SHE FOUGHT FOR EVERY BREATH… AND SHE’S STILL FIGHTING.’ 💔😭” Four years after a life-saving double lung transplant transformed her future, brave Florence is once again facing a deeply emotional chapter—showing the same extraordinary courage that has inspired so many. Against overwhelming odds, Florence not only survived but learned to walk again, achieving milestones many once feared might never be possible. Now, surrounded by the unwavering love of her family, she is confronting another difficult battle with remarkable strength and determination. Her story has moved countless people to tears, serving as a powerful reminder of how precious life truly is. As loved ones cling to hope and cherish every moment by her side, Florence’s resilience continues to touch hearts far beyond her family circle. Some journeys leave an unforgettable mark on everyone who hears them. Florence’s is one of those stories—a heartbreaking, inspiring testament to courage, love, and the strength of a little girl who refuses to stop fighting.

Florence is heading back to London for another hospital clinic appointment — and for her  family, the journey has brought back a flood of painful memories, hope and quiet fear.

Her mother shared that it has now been four years since Florence was first diagnosed, admitting that milestone anniversaries can feel “strange, vulnerable, and on edge” as the memories of the darkest days return.

After years of fighting, Florence was given a second chance at life through a life-saving double lung transplant. But her family know that miracle came through another family’s devastating loss. “Our joy will forever exist alongside their heartbreak,” her mother said, adding that every breath Florence takes carries the gift of that donor family’s generosity.

Since the transplant, Florence’s recovery has been filled with emotional milestones — especially the moment she took her first independent steps. After years of being held back by failing lungs, watching her walk again felt “nothing short of a miracle.”

Now, as Florence returns to hospital, anxiety has crept in once more. Both Florence and her brother Freddie have been suffering from a nasty cold, leaving the family praying that her blood results remain “completely OK and stable.”

At home, life has been chaotic too, with endless hospital appointments, charity work and house renovations all happening at once. Florence’s new wetroom and downstairs bedroom were being prepared just before the emergency call came for her new lungs.

But through every fear, the family remain focused on one thing: helping their brave little girl recover in comfort, love and hope.

“Keep fighting, our brave little girl. We love you, and we are right here beside you, every step of the way.”
