“£59,000 ON THE LINE… AND VIEWERS CAN’T AGREE ON WHAT THEY JUST SAW.” Three contestants stepped into the Final Chase believing they had one last chance to defeat Jenny Ryan and secure a huge cash prize. But as the clock counted down, the conversation changed. It wasn’t just about the score anymore. Fans watching at home began debating every tense moment, questioning the pressure, the pace, and whether the final showdown truly felt like a fair battle between the team and the Chaser. Within minutes, social media was flooded with reactions, with some calling it one of the most dramatic finishes ever seen on The Chase, while others were left questioning what really happened behind the scenes.

The Chase viewers MAD at Bradley Walsh for ‘stitching up’ players in final round

THE Chase fans were left fuming after an “absolute joke” of a final round.

Viewers lashed out at host Bradley Walsh and accused him of asking contestants questions more slowly than the Chaser in the final round.

The most recent episode of the ITV quiz show saw three contestants – Nwamaka, Joe and Alicia – make it to the Final Chase.

They faced up against Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan in the hopes of winning £59,000.

But viewers got frustrated watching the Final Chase and thought Walsh was giving the Vixen an unfair advantage by speaking more slowly when giving contestants their questions.

They suggested he was using a delaying tactic to help the Vixen, who ultimately won the game easily on 19 questions with 15 seconds to spare.

“How many more questions get squeezed in for the chaser in the final chase than for the team @ITVchase? It’s an absolute joke,” wrote one angry fan on Twitter.

Another added: “The Chase pisses me off, when they have a lot of money they give the chaser easy question, f**k this.”

And third said: “@ITVChase can’t tell me your show isn’t fixed.”

The viewer rage came after Walsh revealed his secret health battle that changes his appearance.

The 61-year-old has opened up about suffering from blepharitis, which gives him red, swollen and itchy eyelids during nasty flare-ups.

He admits he’ll have to have an operation in future to fix the problem.

Bradley told This Morning: “People don’t realise I have seriously bad blepharitis.

“I have to take one pill a day for it or I really struggle. I am going to need my eyes operated on at some point to sort it out.

“So many times, people have commented on how I look. But they don’t realise. If I take medication though, I’m fine.”

The condition is not usually serious, but can lead to other problems, such as dry eyes, cysts and conjunctivitis, especially if it’s not treated.

But in some cases, sufferers can wake up with their eyelids stuck together.
