Say “hi” for three last times in July…!
We already know that “Heartstopper” is coming to an end later this week with the feature length movie “Heartstopper Forever” and we can also share some exciting news for fans of the LGBTQ+ Romance.
The film will wrap up Nick and Charlie’s journey, as an adaptation of Alice Oseman’s sixth and final “Heartstopper” graphic novel. After Season 3, the couple is inseparable. But, with Nick preparing to leave for university and Charlie finding new independence at school, the reality of a long-distance relationship begins to weigh on them. Doubts take hold, and their relationship faces its biggest challenge yet.
It’s a bittersweet time for fans but some of that may be alleviated by what Netflix has in store. Keep reading for details:
New “Heartstopper” Podcast
On the same day as “Heartstopper Forever” premieres, Netflix will be releasing a weekly ‘podcast’ called “Heartstopper Forever: The Official Podcast”. Over five new episodes, the stars and creators of Heartstopper Forever discuss the film, look back on the series, and answer questions from fans. RuPaul’s Drag Race UK favourite Tia Kofi will host the show and episode details are shown below:
- Episode 1 – Kit Connor and Joe Locke
- Episode 2 – Corinna Brown and Kizzy Edgell
- Episode 3 – Yasmin Finney and William Gao
- Episode 4 – Writer and creator Alice Oseman and executive producer Patrick Walters

New “Heartstopper” Documentary
Premiering exactly 1 week later is a new 35 minute documentary called “Heartstopper: Ending on a Hi”. The film is a behind the scenes special which combines never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage, cast and crew interviews, larger cultural commentary, and fan input.
