Harlan Coben’s 8-Part Crime Drama Climbs Netflix’s Most Popular Shows List
Harlan Coben’s I Will Find You continues to make an impression on Netflix, moving into the streaming service’s prestigious ranking of its most popular shows of all time.
The eight-part crime drama currently sits at No. 7 on Netflix’s English TV list for the week, recording 2.7 million views. More notably, the series has reached No. 8 on Netflix’s Most Popular Shows of All Time ranking after collecting 112.9 million views during its first nine weeks.

The achievement puts I Will Find You in the company of major Netflix hits including Wednesday, Stranger Things, Bridgerton, and The Queen’s Gambit.
Based on Coben’s 2023 novel of the same name, the series premiered on June 18 and has remained a strong performer on Netflix’s charts. It recently passed another significant milestone, spending more than 50 days in the Top 10 in the U.S. Netflix also confirmed shortly after its debut that I Will Find You had delivered the biggest series release of 2026.
Harlan Coben and Netflix Continue Their Successful Partnership
I Will Find You is the latest result of Coben’s long-running relationship with Netflix. The best-selling author has worked with the streamer since 2018, with the partnership producing adaptations of several of his novels.
Netflix currently has 13 Coben adaptations available: Safe (2018), The Stranger (2020), The Woods (2020), The Innocent (2021), Gone for Good (2021), Stay Close (2021), Hold Tight (2022), Fool Me Once (2024), Missing You (2025), Just One Look (2025), Caught (2025), Run Away (2026), and I Will Find You (2026).
The strong performance of Coben’s series has led Netflix to continue expanding its collaboration with the author, with additional adaptations already in development.
More Harlan Coben Adaptations Are on the Way

Filming began in July on Myron Bolitar, a new Netflix series based on Coben’s long-running book series. The author has written 12 Myron Bolitar novels, beginning with Deal Breaker in 1995.
Coben has previously described the Myron Bolitar books as his most precious work and had been reluctant to sell the adaptation rights. His relationship with Netflix ultimately appears to have changed that.
The story centers on Myron Bolitar, a former basketball player who becomes a sports agent. His work takes an unexpected turn when he finds himself putting his life on the line for his clients.
The series stars KJ Apa (Riverdale), Diane Guerrero (Orange Is the New Black), Chloe Fineman (Saturday Night Live), Jabari Banks (Bel-Air), Jamie McShane (Sons of Anarchy), and Ra’Mya Latiah Aikens.
Another Coben project in production is a new adaptation of The Woods. Netflix previously released a Polish miniseries based on the novel in 2020, but the upcoming version will be an English-language adaptation.
The new The Woods stars Tom Bateman (The Love Hypothesis), Michelle Keegan (Fool Me Once), and Mandeep Dhillon (MobLand).
The story follows Paul ‘Cope’ Copeland after his sister, Camille, disappears from a summer camp in the woods. Believing that Camille was killed, Cope eventually moves on with his life. Twenty years later, however, a man’s body is discovered. He was supposedly murdered at the same time as Camille disappeared.
The discovery makes Cope question everything he thought he knew. He begins to believe that Camille may have survived her disappearance and sets out to uncover what really happened.
Coben has a personal connection to the story. Speaking to Tudum, he explained that The Woods is one of his most personal novels because, like its protagonist Paul Copeland, he once worked as a counselor at a sleepaway camp when he was too young for the position.
