UK-based Netflix users have heard some exciting news they’ve been waiting a long time for.
The streaming platform has confirmed that all episodes of a ‘phenomenal’ horror series is finally being added to its library in the near future. Not only that, but all the spin-offs will also be included.
Fans will already being anticipated in adding the titles to their watchlists. Confirming a deal with the shows makers, Netflix have announced that the full collection of The Walking Dead will soon be available on Netflix.
The show is already accessible for those who subscribe over in the United States, but UK based viewers have had to sign up to other services for their hit of the zombie comic adaptation. At the time of writing, the original series is available on either Disney+ and Prime Video and NOW.
Meanwhile, most of the spin-off shows which often concentrate on select characters in different locations are not all accessible on the same platform. That should change in 2027, although a specific date is yet to be confirmed.

Netflix and AMC Global Media confirmed a multi-year global licensing agreement under which the companies will have co-exclusive streaming rights to the original The Walking Dead series, as well as all six spin-off series that make up franchise’s universe.
The steamer has been the exclusive U.S home of The Walking Dead since 2011 and this new deal will extend the show’s availability on Netflix to new territories, including the UK, Italy, Australia, New Zealand.
Starting in 2027, Fear the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, The Walking Dead: Dead City, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, The Walking Dead: World Beyond and Tales of The Walking Dead will also come to Netflix in the UK. This includes 371 episodes across all seasons and series.
Kristin Dolan, CEO of AMC Global Media said: “This deal creates a global destination for this universe — all shows, all episodes — making the franchise more accessible than ever to fans around the world.”
For those who don’t know, The Walking Dead is an adaptation of the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman. A gritty drama that portrays life in the months and years that follow a zombie apocalypse.

It originally aired between 2010 and 2022 lasting 11 seasons, eventually becoming a worldwide hit. Many fans consider it as one of the best shows ever made for television.
